We had seen people do custom projects for their wedding, but we had never seen anyone build a wedding brand. Knowing that we wanted to create a memorable event, and connect those who would celebrate with us even before the big day, we sought to go where no one had gone before and create an entire wedding identity from the ground up.

This is where the idea of See You in San Miguel came in. Not only would be design all of the invites, and print collateral, but we aimed to create a digital presence so our guests could stay up to date with all details and information for their trip abroad to San Miguel de Allende for our wedding. Our Instagram handle @seeyouinsanmiguel, not only kept guests informed, but also created a lot of buzz!

We saw one of the most beautiful sunsets from our balcony, and wanted to capture those same colors and vibrancy in our color palette.

All of the print materials were drawn and designed by us.

Upon arrival, guests received a postcard with all the important information, and also had a set of milestones to accomplish during their stay in Mexico. We handed out custom stickers for them to use to mark their achievements.

We found out a lot of our guests were competitive to fill their sheet first.

We are avid calligraphers, and wanted our invite to be repurposed as a keepsake, so we lettered a quote that we thought captured the essence of our wedding. We designed the invitation so guests could detach and frame the letterpressed portion!

One of our content series was using our tagline in different visuals to create hype!

We connected with our guests through Instagram stories. Not only did we give them a behind-the-scenes at all of the planning, but we did lots of Q&As, polls, and even had some of our friends do a #InstagramTakeover.
